Castle Leslie Riding Club is based at the famous Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre, Glaslough, Co. Monaghan. With over 50 members it is the largest club in the North Eastern Region of the Association of Irish Riding Clubs and one of the oldest clubs in the Association's history.

We have members from all walks of life and every age group from 17 to 70 and from both sides of the border! With members taking active part in all aspects of riding clubs activities, the club has continuing success in the areas of Showjumping, Eventing, Dressage, Hunter Trials and Cross Jump.

CLRC AGM - Monday 23rd October at 8pm sharp

The AGM for Castle Leslie Riding Club will be held on Monday 23rd October at 8pm sharp in the Gallery at Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre. All members, past and present as well as anybody wanting to join are more than welcome.

Tuesday Night Club Lessons - Autumn/Winter 2017

Lessons will alternate weekly between flat and jumping unless otherwise stated.

CLRC Membership 2017

PLEASE NOTE THAT AIRC MEMBERSHIP IS NOW AT A REDUCED RATE UNTIL 31ST DECEMBER 2017.

Please note that you MUST be a fully paid up member for 2017 no later than 31st January 2017 in order to participate in the lessons on Tuesdays.

Cost is as follows for 2017:
Renewing Membership from 2016: €60.00
New Membership €65.00
Non-riding member €30.00
Please make cheques payable to Castle Leslie Riding Club.

New members ONLY: You must supply 2 passport sized photos with their applications and please discuss gradings with our club instructor Orla before submitting the membership form to the club secretary.

Renewals: Please return the 2017 membership form with your old 2016 membership card. If you wish to apply for an upgrade/downgrade please let the club secretary know as this needs to be ratified at a Regional Meeting before the membership can be submitted to head office.

All Memberships: Please make sure that your mobile number and email address are correct on the form as club and external information will be transmitted to you via both these methods.

Also please note that you must be a member by 30th April in order to be considered for the RDS Team SJ.

NER Regional Meetings - 2016/2017 Rota

The NER Regional Meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of the month at Man O War pub, near Balbriggan. The rota is as follows. Please note if you cannot attend, it is up to you to find a replacement - there will be a text reminder when its your month.

Horse Health

Make sure you have your horses' flu and tet vaccinations up to date with requirements (check the individual body with which you are completing to make sure you comply eg AIRC, EI, SJI, Pony Club and Dressage Ireland etc). Also if you are getting horse physios, dentists etc please let other club members know so they may avail of the service if necessary.

Castle Leslie Riding Club Clothing and Numnahs

1. POLOSHIRT
Available in both mens and ladies sizes. It is a dry blend double pique poloshirt. It is semi fitted contoured silhouette. This poloshirt has a nice lightweight feel to it and it does not form sweat patches the sweat evaporates from it, which is great for riding in with embroidered crest on front left hand breast and on the back of the neck.

Available in both mens and ladies. Bottle green embroidered with crest on front left hand chest and on back same a poloshirts or on back same as the paul carberry jackets.

Anti-pill microfleece. 2 zipped pockets and full zip, anti-pill material, embroidery same as hoody above.

5. SOFTSHELL JACKET RUSSELL
Bottle green is only new colour so the imagery isn't out for it yet. Available in both mens and ladies with the same embroidery as above on front and back. It has side and chest pockets. Full zip with inner storm flap. These jackets are built in three layers, the outer layer is smooth woven softshell fabric that gives protection from the elements. next to skin there is a cosy micro fleece layer for warmth and in between a membrane that lets moisture out but no rain in.
